The 30th annual World Travel Awards is here and comes with great news for Chilean Patagonia. Hotel Las Torres Patagonia has been nominated for the distinct honor of being South America’s Leading Green Hotel.
Known as the “Oscars of Tourism”, the World Travel Awards (WTA) have been awarding excellence in the tourism industry in different regions of the world for 30 years. In particular, the South America’s Leading Green Hotel award was first presented in 2008 in recognition of the efforts of hotels across the continent to offer accommodation models focused on sustainability.
Today, Las Torres Patagonia’s long history in this field makes it worthy of this prestigious nomination. Proof of this are proposals such as its regenerative organic garden, the award-winning Pionero sustainable cocktail bar, the holistic management of grasslands, various conservation projects, and, of course, the different ecotourism activities that guests of Hotel Las Torres Patagonia can enjoy in the heart of the Torres del Paine National Park.
